The coastline

What gets engraved.

Pacific Beach is a straight north-to-south line, and that simplicity is its strength as an engraving. The pier is the one interruption, pushing out into the water partway along. Behind the sand the boardwalk runs unbroken toward Mission Beach, and Mission Bay sits inland as a second body of water that can be engraved in or left out depending on how wide you want the piece to read.

Why this one, specifically.

This is the first-apartment-in-San-Diego piece. It goes to people who spent a summer or a few years here in their twenties and moved on, and it is a common housewarming gift between friends who both lived in the neighborhood.

Turnaround

Pacific Beach is engraved to order and usually ready within a week. Resin pours need seven to ten days to cure properly, and we won't rush that.
