Home·Realtor Closing Gifts

For Real Estate Agents

A closing gift they'll actually keep.

The best closing gift is not branded for the agent. It celebrates the client's new home. It sits out on the counter, guests ask about it, and it quietly sends referrals back to you for years.

Why this works

Your logo on a wine bottle is not a gift.

It is an advertisement the client has to look at, and it goes in the recycling by Sunday. The branded cutting board is the same idea with a longer shelf life.

A piece engraved with their neighborhood, their family name and the year they bought the house is about them, not you. That is exactly why it stays out on the counter, and why it keeps working long after the transaction is closed. Your name goes on the back, tastefully, where it belongs.

The gift they show people is worth more than the gift they thank you for.

  • Solid hardwood and hand-poured ocean resin, made in San Diego
  • Personalized to the home: neighborhood, coordinates, family name, year
  • Gold or black engraved fill for a premium finish
  • Boxed and ready to hand over at the table
  • Details saved on file, so reorders take one message
A collection of hardwood and resin serving boards suitable for closing gifts

Boards are the most-given tier. Big enough to matter, small enough to hand over at the table.

Choosing a tier

Pick by what the sale was worth to you.

Every tier includes the personalization. There is no upsell at the end.

The gift ladder

Buying a Shoreline piece for the client's actual beach instead? That ladder runs from a $24 ornament to a $475 signature round. See the Shoreline collection.

Process

One message per closing.

  1. Free sample first

Qualifying agents get one personalized piece made and shipped free, so you are handing over something you have already held.

  2. Your details go on file

Your name, how you want it engraved on the back, your preferred tier and fill colour. Set once.

  3. Send the closing

Family name, neighborhood or address, and the date. That is the whole message.

  4. It ships boxed

To you for the signing table, or straight to the client with a card. Free US shipping either way.

Custom engraving is typically about a week. If the piece involves a resin pour, allow seven to ten days for the cure, which is not a step worth rushing. Tell us the closing date and you will get an honest answer about whether it makes it.

Does my name or brokerage go on it?

On the back, discreetly, in a smaller engraving. The front is about the client and their home. That is the entire mechanism: a gift that is visibly about them is the one that stays on display, and a piece on display is the one that gets asked about.

Can you do a neighborhood that isn't a beach?

Yes. Inland San Diego neighborhoods, a street map around the house, or the coordinates of the property itself all work. The Shoreline collection covers 26 named coastal spots, but a closing gift is not limited to them.

What if the closing falls through?

If it has not been engraved yet, nothing is owed. If it has, the piece is yours to keep and re-gift, and prepaid credit does not expire.

Can I ship directly to the client?

Yes, at no extra cost, with a handwritten card if you send the message you want on it.

What counts as a qualifying agent for the free sample?

An active licensed agent who intends to use closing gifts. Tell us roughly how many closings you do a year in the form below and it will be sorted out in the reply. There is no purchase required to get the sample.

Free sample

Hold one before you commit.

Qualifying agents get a personalized sample made and shipped free. Tell us what to engrave on it and it will be a real piece, not a stock photo.

Sent straight to Sean. No purchase required, and no obligation after.

Turnaround

Custom engraving is typically about a week. Resin pours need seven to ten days to cure and we won't rush that. Send the closing date and you'll get a straight answer.
